Every ranking must cite its sources. We link to original data sources and give credit where credit is due. Transparency builds trust.
Regular Updates
Rankings should be current and relevant. We update data regularly and include "last updated" dates so you know when the information was verified.
What Makes a Good Ranking?
- Clear Criteria: The ranking methodology is transparent and logical
- Interesting Topic: Subject matter that people actually want to explore
- Complete Data: All relevant information is included in the ranking
- Well Structured: Easy to read and understand at a glance
What's Not Allowed
- False Information: Rankings with fabricated or unverifiable data
- Hate Speech: Rankings that promote discrimination or harassment
- Personal Attacks: Content targeting individuals in a harmful way
- Spam or Promotion: Rankings created solely to advertise products/services
- Illegal Content: Anything that violates applicable laws
Source Requirements
Every ranking on EveryRank must include proper source attribution:
- Provide the name of the source (publication, organization, website)
- Include a URL link when available
- Specify the date the data was accessed or published
- For multiple sources, list all that contributed to the ranking
- Note any methodology or disclaimers from the original source
Moderation Policy
Our team reviews all rankings for quality and compliance with these guidelines. Rankings that violate our standards will be:
- Flagged for review and potentially removed
- Returned to the submitter with feedback for improvement
- Updated with corrections if minor issues are found
We reserve the right to remove any content that doesn't meet our standards or violates these rules.
